Inupiaq Eskimo actress Ariel Tweto of Unalakleet will appear on 'The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson' on Wednesday night.
The show will air on CBS at 11:35 p.m. Alaska time.
"I am so excited and can't believe this is all happening so quick. What a joy of a ride," Tweto said.
The vibrant 23-year-old is one of the main characters in her family's new TV series 'Flying Wild Alaska' on the Discovery Channel. Current commercials bill it as the No. 1 new cable show on Friday nights.
"We're about to start filming the second season of FWA and everything is going great," Tweto said. "I love Alaska."
Tweto, a former all-star high school basketball player in Unalakleet and Anchorage, got her big break a couple years ago on the ABC series 'Wipeout' before landing roles on other shows such as 'Hannah Montana' and 'Parental Control.'
Now she's following Letterman on Wednesday night.
"I am so lucky and so grateful for everything," she said.
